My friends! Last saturday, we recorded our beloved drumbunny for the song Holy War. It hurts me, but I have to praise him. He made a real good job there and I spent the week to mix the result down. And that's where I have to blame him: he played nice, but he tuned his snare not at all. So I guess it would be the same if I recorded him knocking his head onto a wooden floor. Easy task: make that sound like a snare drum!
Well, I did my very best, made it sound aggressive and snary and all and then buried it within the double base. Et voila! So we've got a useful drumtrack and we'll soon record the base and the guitars and everything. Also some background choirs, made of real persons. That will be fun. So watch out for upcoming news.
