Only minutes after the last news update, we have all been shocked by the tragedy that happened in the USA and have had a difficult time attempting to pursue the "daily business" with the knowledge what is going on in the world in these days.
It's been two busy weeks since the new members joined, but there are not only sad things to say:
The new cast met two times, and both events were "highly productive", as Marco reported. Now we have to wait for some results! Stay tuned!
The lyrics of the brandnew song Tell Tale Heart, based on the lyrical work of Edgar Allan Poe, have been added.
The band is currently furnishing a new studio, with all sufficient equipment, to prevent delays as known from the recordings of the Wings Out Of Shadows Album.
As soon, as this new studio is up and running, you can expect more new songs in a fairly good recording quality! Be patient, it'll pay off!
Anudu has found a new guitarist: Sebastian Schulz returns!
Furthermore, Thomas Johnen is going to support the band as a bassplayer for the time being!
This new cast will meet next saturday to get used to each other and to study the new songs. Finally, it seems, that the future of Anudu is paved.
Bassplayer Jens left the band!
Marco said: "It was mutually agreed that Jens would leave the band. You can cite the usual musical differences but actually it was more down to differences in priority. It was felt Jens was paying too much time and attention to other things. This lack of focus had been affecting the band creatively for some time so now the band will be able to get back on track.
Jens has been with us for a long time so its obviously very sad when this sort of thing has to happen, but there was really no alternative. Everyone wishes him the very best of luck with his new venture.
We already have several candidates in mind, so for now there won't be any auditions. There is a lot of great talent out there and we are all excited about the future possibilities for Anudu. Once the new lineup is final, we will go and record the next album!"
Allright! After some days inventing new songlines and plots, the band created 4 new songs up to now, plus Ionstorm.
Marco finished another song about "The Tell-Tale Heart", by Edgar Allan Poe.
The new recordings from the Wings Out Of Shadows album delay more and more. But the band can't do anything about that, so they concentrate on the work for the next album. It's name is already known. As soon as Anudu.com knows, we'll tell you.
